Also, Bill, the pseudo-anti-capitalist pope was the one who just died. This one started by launching a full-on attack on modern secular democracy, so there's a tiny wee bit of a shift to the uber-right there. You missed that, maybe.
Pardon me bb, but I believe you mean modern secularism, rather than modern secular democracy. Bit of a difference. Last I checked, Pope Benedict hasn't called for the installation of a Phalangist dictatorship reigning across the EU quite yet...
